All Slides have some degree of dirt and dust built up on them over the years. Those slides that have been well kept will be less effected, however the majority of everyday
Family and Travel Slides that have been brought out every Xmas to show friends and family will be effected by foreign matter on the slide image.
All our Slides are scanned in Professional Film and Slides scanners. We Do NOT use consumer grade equipment available in shopping Centre Electrical stores.
Our Scanners will remove in most cases, a significant amount of dirt, dust, lint, scratches and in some cases, small specs of mould from the captured image.
Our Scanners will optimise the quality of your slide at the same time.
All Slides are scanned at a minimum of 2400dpi as ' tiff ' files and can be scanned at much higher resolutions on request.
After your slides have been scanned and digital cleaned and enhanced by the scanner, we will manually open each and every Slide image ( Yes it's time consuming ) on the computer in Photo editing software and do a whole range of
further enhancements.
Once we are happy with all the images, your slides will be converted into a Movie presentation with Titles and background music. A Menu and numerous chapter points are assigned throughout the DVD Slideshow and your DVD will be made with a set of instruction encoded into DVD system that makes the DVD simply start up automatically, so you don't have to fiddle around with the remote too much.
Your Slides will all appear on the screen for about 5 - 6 seconds each before gently cross fading into the next image and so on. Appropriate background music will be playing whilst your images come and go on the screen.
When you want to stop and stare at any particular image, you simply hit your pause button on the remote, and that image will stay absolutely still without any jitter or distortion for as long as you want.
After your DVD is created we will create a CD with all of your slide images on it for use in your computer. The images on this CD will be able to be printed up to about A4 size if your wish.
